Meet Our Owner
Karen Mitchell has worked with flowers and plants for more than 20 years since she was a child. After being trained as a floral designer in Boston, she owned and operated a garden center where she acquired an extensive range of knowledge about plants and flowers. She also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and has worked as a corporate accountant.
Acquiring Our Shop
Karen’s love for flowers and providing excellent customer service inspired her to acquire Ye Olde Flower Shoppe from its previous owners in 2002. She and her well-trained staff take good care of their clients’ needs and excel in creating artistic floral designs. In fact, her business has been featured in the Christmas Shopping edition of the San Diego Magazine® and in the Coronado Eagle & Journal.
